ERIKA SILGONER
Nata a Catania,dove inizia gli studi di balletto classico, all’età di quattordici anni si trasferisce a Parigi grazie ad una borsa di studio.
Prosegue la sua formazione accostando alla danza accademica una personale ricerca circa la cultura hip hop.
Prima ballerina ed assistente alle coreografie nella Spellbound Contemporary Ballet, danzatrice eclettica e dalle forti doti interpretative, Erika ha continuato ad arricchire il suo linguaggio e la sua personalità artistica interpretando ruoli sempre diversi e complessi.
Negli anni Erika collabora in vari ambiti:
Nella prosa cura le coreografie di “Metamorfosi” di Fortebraccio Teatro diretto da Roberto Latini.
Nella moda cura le coreografie di varie sfilate di alta moda in Italia e all’estero.
Per l’Accademia Nazionale di Danza di Roma crea “11 not interesting people”
Per l’Accademia CDSH di Amburgo crea “my body can scream”
Collabora come docente ospite per l’Accademia Susanna Beltrami di Milano
Collabora come docente guest per l’Accademia Iwanson di Monaco
Dal 2015 concretizza il suo progetto più ambizioso fondando Esklan Art’s Factory, compagnia d’autore per la quale Erika ha firmato già numerose creazioni già in cartellone in numerosi teatri in Italia, Francia, Bulgaria, Germania, Olanda, Russia, Panama, Polonia, Spagna, Brasile.
Nel 2017 Erika viene premiata come miglior coreografa all’ International Solo Tanz Festival di Stoccarda.
Nel 2018 cura il concept e le coreografie del video “Voglio” per il cantante Marco Mengoni
Nel giugno 2021 Erika è vincitrice del XL award al RIDCC -Rotterdam International Duet Choreographic Competition,
nella stessa occasione riceve anche il partner award da Skanes Dansteater
Coreografa del Flag handover per la Cerimonia di chiusura dei giochi olimpici di Pechino 2022
Nel maggio 2022 firma la creazione "Wild Fellas" per Skanes Dansteater
Nell' ottobre 2022 firma "SCHATTEN" per Commedia Futura - Hannover condividendo la regia con Wolfgang Piontek
Nell'aprile 2023 firma la creazione "The mourning" per Scapino Ballet Rotterdam
Nella primavera del 2024 firmerà una nuova creazione per MDT Opera di Stato Istanbul

Born in Catania, where she began her classical ballet studies, at the age of fourteen she moved to Paris on a scholarship.
She continues her training by combining academic dance with a personal research on hip hop culture.
Principal dancer and assistant to choreography in the Spellbound Contemporary Ballet,
eclectic dancer with strong interpretative skills, Erika has continued to enrich her language and her artistic personality by interpreting always different and complex roles.
Over the years Erika collaborates in various fields: In the prose she takes care of the choreography of "Metamorfosi" by Fortebraccio Teatro directed by Roberto Latini.
In fashion she takes care of the choreography of various high fashion shows in Italy and abroad.
For the National Academy of Dance in Rome she creates
"11 not interesting people"
For the CDSH Academy in Hamburg he creates "my body can scream"
She collaborates as a guest for the Susanna Beltrami Academy in Milan
She works as a guest for the Iwanson Academy in Munich
Since 2015she has realized her most ambitious project by founding Esklan Art's Factory, an author's company for which Erika has already signed numerous creations already on the bill in numerous theaters in Italy, France, Bulgaria, Germany, Holland, Russia, Panama, Poland, Spain , Brazil.
In 2017 Erika was awarded as best choreographer at the International Solo Tanz Festival in Stuttgart
. In 2018 she takes care of the concept and the choreography of the video "Voglio" for the singer Marco Mengoni.
In 2021 Erika awarded the XL prize during the RIDCC - Rotterdam International Duet Choreographic Competition
on the same occasion she also received the partner award from Skanes Dansteater

In 2022 she sign the creation "Wild Fellas" for Skanes Dansteater
